Let clients pin feedback, with a screenshot, right on your WordPress site. No accounts for them, no code for you.

== Description ==

Pinnote is the simplest way to get feedback on a website. Your clients click the thing they want changed, type a note, and you get it in your Pinnote inbox with a screenshot of exactly what they saw, the page, and their browser.

This plugin adds Pinnote to your site: paste your site key and you're done.

* Clients don't need an account or a password.
* Visitors see nothing until you open the site to reviewers in Pinnote, or invite them.
* Reply in Pinnote and the reviewer sees your answer next to their note.
* Send notes to GitHub, or to your coding agent through Pinnote's MCP server.

== External services ==

This plugin loads the Pinnote widget from https://pinnote.app/widget.js on your site's public pages, and the widget talks to pinnote.app to show and save feedback. It sends nothing until you save a site key.

When a reviewer leaves feedback, Pinnote receives what they write, a screenshot of the page as they saw it, the page address, the element they pointed at, their screen size and browser, and the name (and optional email) they give.

2. In Pinnote, add your site and copy its site key (it starts with pk_).
3. In WordPress, go to Settings → Pinnote, paste the key and save.
4. In Pinnote, open the site to reviewers or invite them, and send them the address.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Will my visitors see a feedback button? =

No. Only people you invite, people with your share link, or everyone on an address you've opened to reviewers in Pinnote.

= Does it slow my site down? =

The widget loads after the page, asynchronously, and does nothing for visitors who aren't reviewers.
