Terms of Service

Use Pinnote on sites you're allowed to, keep your account safe, and don't misuse it. Your feedback stays yours. Paid plans renew until you cancel, and any charge can be refunded within 14 days. We work hard to keep Pinnote running, but it's provided as it is.

These terms

These terms apply when you create a Pinnote account or use Pinnote (pinnote.app, the widget and the API). By using Pinnote you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Pinnote for a company or client, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for them.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 and give us a real email address.
• Keep your password, your sites' secrets and your API keys safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account, including what AI agents do with keys you create.
• Tell us straight away at support@pinnote.app if you think someone else has access.

Using Pinnote fairly

You may only install Pinnote on websites you own or are allowed to change. Please don't:

• break the law, or help anyone else do so;
• invite people who haven't agreed to review your site, or use invites to send spam;
• collect or upload content you don't have the right to, or that is harmful, abusive or illegal;
• use Pinnote on pages that show other people's sensitive information (such as health or payment details) to reviewers who shouldn't see it;
• try to break, overload, probe or get around Pinnote's security or limits, or reach data that isn't yours;
• resell Pinnote or copy it to build a competing product.

If you do, we may suspend or close your account. Where we can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

Your content

Your sites, your reviewers' feedback, screenshots and replies are yours. You give us permission to store, process and show them only as needed to run Pinnote for you, for example to show feedback in your dashboard and on your pages, send notifications, and hand feedback to AI agents you connect. You're responsible for having the right to collect that content, including telling your reviewers how their feedback is used.

Plans and payments

• The Free plan is free for good. Nothing is charged unless you choose to upgrade to Pro.
• Paid plans are sold and billed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, and renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel any time; you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds. Any charge can be refunded in full within 14 days. See the Refund Policy.
• Price changes apply from your next renewal, and we'll email you at least 30 days before.
• Free plan limits (sites, open feedback, history) are listed on the pricing page and may change with notice.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Pinnote fast and available, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted, and we don't offer an uptime guarantee. We improve Pinnote often, and may change or retire features. If we remove something important you pay for, we'll tell you in advance.

Ending your account

You can stop using Pinnote at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may close accounts that break these terms, or that haven't been used for a long time after warning you by email. If we ever shut Pinnote down, we'll give at least 30 days' notice so you can export your feedback.

Our responsibility

Pinnote is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we don't give warranties beyond what these terms say, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption. Our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it, or US$50 if that's more. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that can't be limited by law.

If someone makes a claim against us because of content you collected with Pinnote or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email account holders at least 14 days before the change takes effect. If you keep using Pinnote after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can cancel and ask for your data to be deleted.
