Integrations
Pinnote fits the site you already have, the tracker your team already uses, and the coding agent you already work with.
Your site
One line of code before </body>, on any site you can add a script tag to. Step-by-step guides for each:
- WebflowPaste one line into Webflow's site-wide footer code and publish.
- FramerAdd the script in Framer's custom code settings, placed at the end of the body, and publish.
- WordPressInstall the Pinnote plugin and paste your site key. No code.
- Next.jsAdd next/script to your root layout. Works with the App Router and the Pages Router.
- SquarespacePaste the line into Code Injection's Footer box.
- WixAdd it as Custom Code on all pages, at the end of the body.
- ShopifyPaste the line into theme.liquid, just before </body>, on the theme you're building to keep it off the live store.
- HTML, React and ViteAdd the line to every page, or once to index.html in a single-page app.
WordPress plugin
No code to paste. Upload the plugin, then enter your site key in Settings › Pinnote. It needs an administrator account on self-hosted WordPress, or a paid WordPress.com plan.
Browser extension for Chrome and Edge
For sites you can't add code to. Reviewers with the extension get the Feedback button from your invite or share link, with nothing installed on the site.
Slack
On Pro.
Post new feedback, replies, resolved and reopened notes, and fixes a reviewer confirms, to a Slack channel. Each message links straight to the note. Pinnote never sends team-only notes. Add Slack's Incoming Webhooks app to the channel and paste its address in your site's settings.
Webhooks
On Pro.
The same events, as JSON posted to an HTTPS address of your own, for Zapier, Make or your own tools. Every request carries an x-pinnote-signature header, an HMAC-SHA256 of the body with your signing secret, so you can check it came from Pinnote.
GitHub
On Pro.
Connect a repository to a site and every note gets a Create GitHub issue button. Or have every new note, or only the ones marked as a bug, become an issue by itself. The issue carries the note, the page, the element and the screenshot, and closing it resolves the note in Pinnote.
AI coding agents
Connect Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or VS Code to Pinnote as an MCP server. Your agent reads each note with its screenshot and the exact element, fixes it in your code, replies and resolves it. Agents can't delete anything, and Pinnote marks their replies as coming from an agent.
claude mcp add --transport http pinnote https://pinnote.app/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer pn_…"Make a key under AI agents in the dashboard. Not using MCP? Every note has Copy as prompt. The full guide to connecting an agent
Your own app's sign-in
If your app already signs its users in, it can sign them in to Pinnote too, with a short token your server makes. They get the Feedback button without an invite, and you choose whether everyone you sign in can review or only the people on your list.
